What is MIGS (Microinvasive Glaucoma Surgery)?

Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) is a procedure commonly performed in conjunction with cataract surgery to help lower intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma.

There are a variety of MIGS techniques, but the overall goal is the same:
To improve glaucoma control while you’re on your current medication regimen — or ideally, to reduce your dependence on daily eye drops.
