There are two innovations that I’m really excited about when it comes to cataract surgery.
First is the use of a femtosecond laser. We predominantly use this technology in our cataract surgery patients, and it offers several benefits. It makes the procedure quicker, improves healing, and allows me to correct astigmatism during surgery.
Second is the use of advanced technology intraocular lenses (IOLs). With these lenses, we can help patients get out of reading glasses, correct astigmatism, and truly improve their overall lifestyle and visual freedom.
